The 88 Bus is a zine inspired by the novel The Girl on the 88 Bus (also published as The Lost Ticket) by Freya Sampson. The story follows Libby as she helps elderly Frank search for his first love from sixty years ago. The zine translates the narrative through graphic elements, using distinct shapes to represent each character throughout the journey. Printed on 65 lb cream cardstock, the piece is accordion-folded and cut into the form of a bus, reinforcing the story’s central setting and movement.
